The details
Preserved botanicals hold their shape and colour for years in indirect light, which is the whole argument for them over fresh. They do fade in a sunny window and they do collect dust, so keep them out of direct sun and give them an occasional blast of cool air from a hairdryer.
Styling it
Cut the stems to suit your vase rather than the other way round — the tallest should reach about one and a half times the vase height. Fuller is better; dried stems look sparse when you are stingy.
