Why we started
The shelf above the desk kept looking unfinished. Not empty — unfinished. The problem was never a shortage of things to buy. It was that almost every listing for small decor is a square photo with no scale, a two-line description, and a title stuffed with keywords. You order a vase and a thimble arrives.
What we actually do
We review large supplier catalogues and keep a very small fraction of what we see. A piece has to hold up on three counts: the silhouette has to work from across a room, the finish has to look considered rather than plastic, and the price has to make sense for what it is.
The pieces are produced by manufacturing partners in our sourcing network and shipped directly to you. We are not going to pretend a potter throws each one by hand. What we do add is the part that was missing: measured dimensions, an honest description of the finish, a clear statement of exactly what is in the box, and a photograph set that shows the item you receive rather than a styled room full of things you do not.
Sizing, taken seriously
Most small-decor returns are not quality complaints. They are scale surprises. So every listing carries measurements in centimetres and a size band — and where we only have the shipping carton confirmed rather than the piece, we say that outright instead of guessing. How we size things.
What we will not do
- We do not run fake countdown timers or invent "only 2 left" warnings.
- We do not publish review counts we did not earn. When you see ratings on this site, they came from real buyers.
- We do not use a crossed-out "was" price that nothing was ever sold at.
- We do not describe a set of two as if it were one piece — or the reverse.
