The details

The gloss is the whole point: a matte version of this shape reads as a novelty, and the mirror finish is what pushes it toward pop art instead. The opening is narrow and set back, so it takes one or two stems rather than an arrangement. Glazed inside as well as out, so it holds water.

Styling it

This is a one-per-room object. It needs a plain surface and nothing competing beside it. Red on a white shelf; white or black if the room already has colour in it.
