The details
Dipped rather than sprayed, which is the whole point — the glaze stops where the cup was lifted out, so the line wavers and sits at a different height on every piece. Below it the raw stoneware is exposed and matte. Above it the glaze is smooth. Two surfaces on one object.
Styling it
The dip line is the feature, so do not hide it behind anything. On an open shelf at eye level it reads immediately.
