The details
Small bedside tables lose most of their surface to a lamp. Moving the light to the wall gives that surface back, and an arc puts the head out over the bed where the light is actually needed. Check the mounting requirements against your wall type before ordering.
Styling it
Mount it about 60 cm above the mattress, angled slightly inward. In pairs on either side of a bed it looks considered; alone it looks like something is missing.
