Cast resin. Cast resin takes a consistent matte finish; very small surface marks from the mould seam are normal and usually invisible at arm's length.

The details
A single abstract figure is a decoration. Three in different postures start to read as a scene, which is a much harder thing to buy and the reason sets like this exist. Matte black keeps them graphic against pale shelving where a lighter finish would vanish.
Styling it
