The details
Washing the fabric before it is cut is what produces the texture — the fibres shrink and relax unevenly, so the surface stays slightly uneven instead of pressing perfectly flat. It also means the napkins will not shrink again once you own them. Larger than the plain set, and heavier.
Styling it
These are the ones to leave loosely folded rather than pressed. A stack of three or four on a shelf near the table looks deliberate in a way that a drawer full never does.
