The details

The speckle is iron in the clay body coming through the glaze in the kiln, not a decoration applied on top — the density varies across every cup and cannot be repeated. Handleless by design: the wall is thick enough to hold comfortably and the shape wants to be cupped. The foot is left unglazed.
