The details

Plain weave, no border, no print — the only detail is the hem, which is turned twice and stitched close to the edge so it will not fray back after washing. The colours are muted rather than pastel, which is what lets them sit on a table without becoming the loudest thing on it.

Styling it

Cloth napkins do more for how a table reads than almost anything else at this price. Fold them once and lay them flat rather than fanning them; the creases are the point.
