The details

The knotting is dense at the top and opens out toward the fringe, which is what gives the panel weight at the rail and movement at the hem. Unbleached cotton on a plain wooden dowel with no finish. Hand-knotted, so the pattern repeats but the tension does not.

Styling it

It is wide, so it needs a wide wall — above a bed or a sofa rather than in a narrow gap. Hang it high enough that the fringe ends well above whatever furniture sits below.
