The details

Dried arrangements need a different vessel from fresh flowers: wider at the mouth so stems splay naturally, and heavy enough at the base that a top-heavy bunch of pampas does not pull the whole thing over. This is that vessel. The glaze is matte and forgiving of dust.

Styling it

Fill it generously — dried stems look sparse in ones and twos. Pampas, bunny tails or preserved eucalyptus, cut so the tallest stem is roughly one and a half times the height of the vase.
