The details
The face is on one side only, which is the detail that makes these usable — turned away it is a plain white cylinder, so a shelf of them does not become a shelf of faces staring out. Pressed into the mould rather than painted, so there is nothing to chip.
Styling it
Turn some to face out and some away. That is the whole trick with cute objects in quantity: let the room decide how much of it shows.
